Ghandrung Trek with Chitwan National Park 12 Days

Day 01 : Kathmandu
Arrival & transfer to your hotel by private car/coach. Sightseeing tour of the most important sites of Kathmandu Valley including 2000 years old Swoyambhunath temple also known as Monkey Temple. And then to Patan Durbar Square - the oldest and second largest of the three cities in Kathmandu Valley and site visit to Tibetan Refugee Camp.

Day 02 : Kathmandu, Rafting and Chitwan (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast, set off for a white water rafting adventure down the Trishuli River which stretches along the way to Chitwan. The trip starts off at a leisurely pace, giving one ample time to familiarize on rafting techniques and to build up teamwork. Six rapids await down the river, building up a crescendo from “butterfly” to the big water of “pinball”, guaranteed to send thrills down one’s spine! Ending the trip at the village of Kurintar or Mugling and then transferring to Chitwan for the night.

Day 03 : Chitwan - Jungle activities (B/L/D)
Today you will be escorted by expert naturalist on various exciting activities including elephant back safari, Canoe ride, Jungle walk, Bird watching, Slide show, Tharu stick dance etc.

Day 04 : Chitwan - Pokhara
This morning you will take a scenic drive for Pokhara, “The dreamland of Nepal”. The moment you step into Pokhara that takes you into immediate delights are the gorgeous view of the gigantic Himalayan range and the beautiful lakes.

Day 05 : Pokhara - City tour
A city tour of Pokhara is in store for you which includes 1 hour boating on scenic Fewa Lake, Barahi Temple, Bindabasini Temple, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Seti Gorge, Tibetan Refugee Camp.

Day 06 : Trek to Phedi
Drive to Dhampus Phedi trek to Tolkha

Day 07 : Trek to Ghandrung
Tolkha to Ghandrung (1940)

Day 08 : Trek to Nayapul
Ghandrung to Nayapul drive to Pokhara

Day 09 : Pokhara
Free in Pokhara

Day 10 : Pokhara - Kathmandu
This morning you will travel by coach to Kathmandu. The day is free for you to explore the valley on your own.

Day 11 : Kathmandu
Today you’re free in Kathmandu for your own activities or for shopping

Day 12 : Departure
Drive to airport for flight back home.

A walk in the clouds - so magical, so majestic and so exotic Nepal! Nepal was my second trip with my girl friends after Kashmir in Mar 06. A lot of people had been telling me that Nepal was one of most beautiful places on earth.
