Today, you will be enjoying the dramatic scenery of the lower Mustang while having the technical fun of riding. So, brace yourself as you wind your two wheels towards Marpha. There are two routes that you can choose from. The first route is a classic descent via Jomsom. And another is a more adventurous singletrack through the Lupra Valley. Most of the riders prefer the adventurous high-altitude lower Mustang biking trail as it adds more wild experience to the journey.
When you are making your way through the Lupra route, you will bike on the rocky paths and dry riverbeds. With the crisp air caressing your skin, the silence of the region will be only broken by the sound of wheels and strong, blowing winds. Whichever route you choose, you will finally reach the stunning whitewashed Thakali village of Marpha at the end of the day. This village is mainly known for its apple brandy, cider, and tidy stone alleys. With a lot of run-down on the dramatic landscapes, covering 25-30 km, you will be tired. So slow down and enjoy Mustang’s unique cultural blend at Marpha.
